Terms of use

These terms govern your use of the Topos Astro Match app and this website. By using either, you accept them. They are written to be read.

01What the product is

Topos Astro Match computes astrological evidence about a working relationship from two sets of birth details and renders a written dossier about it. It is an entertainment product. It is not legal, financial, medical, psychological or professional advice, and no part of any dossier is a prediction or guarantee of any outcome for any person.

02What you may not use it for

• As the basis, in whole or in part, for any employment, recruitment, dismissal, credit, housing, insurance, licensing or similar decision about any person.
• To assess a minor (anyone under 17).
• To build or contribute to any directory, database or index of assessed people.
• To harass, defame or misrepresent any person, including by presenting a dossier as a judgement of a person rather than a description of a working relationship.

We may suspend accounts that violate this section. This is the clause that separates the product from something harmful, and it is enforced, not decorative.

03Purchases

Dossiers are one-time in-app purchases processed by the App Store under Apple’s terms. A purchase grants permanent access to that dossier, including transit-driven updates, on any device signed in with your Apple ID — restore is built in and free. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. Prices are shown before purchase and include no recurring charge unless explicitly labelled.

04The free reading

Each assessment shows one identified mechanic in full before purchase. What is shown is genuinely computed from your inputs; nothing is simulated behind the paywall. If fewer mechanics fire than the maximum, the product says so and charges the same price — the purchase is for the complete dossier of whatever was found.

05Accuracy and honest degradation

The engine is deterministic: identical inputs produce identical outputs. When an input is uncertain — most often an approximate birth time — the affected sections of the dossier are withheld and marked, not guessed. Deterministic is not the same as true. The dossier is one input to your decision, never the decision itself.

06Intellectual property

The app, the plates, the engraved artwork, the engine and these texts are our property or our licensors’. Your dossiers are yours: you may keep, print and share the share plate the app generates. You may not resell dossiers or republish them as a competing product.

07Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the product is provided “as is”, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses — including business decisions taken with reference to a dossier. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

08Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer law in your country of residence gives you rights that cannot be waived.

09Changes

Changes are posted here with a new effective date. Continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
